Whether you're a CandleWealth Associate, a potential CandleWealth Associate, a customer or a visitor, this page will provide you with straightforward, easy access to important information about the CandleWealth opportunity, as well as the philosophies upon which the Company was founded.

Below are a few topics that we've chosen to get us going and please keep in mind that this is just the beginning.  Check back often, as we'll be adding more topics in the weeks and months ahead.

"How much money can I expect to earn as a CandleWealth Associate?"

While the earning potential associated with CandleWealth is an open-ended one, it is impossible to guarantee that a particular level of income can be earned.  The amount of money you may make as a CandleWealth Associate will depend upon many factors, including your personal goals and the amount of time and effort you choose to invest in your business.  Many CandleWealth Associates operate their businesses on a part-time basis with an objective to meet short-term financial goals like holiday gifts for the family, a family vacation, school supplies or tuition for their children.  Others decide to build their CandleWealth business to a desired goal which makes it possible for them to quit their jobs and pursue the CandleWealth business full time.  As with any business, there are no guarantees or assurances that any level of sales or income will be attained.  The main thing to remember is that how much you earn with your CandleWealth business is strictly up to you.

“Why do people choose to have a CandleWealth business or pursue Direct Selling/Network Marketing opportunities?”

We believe there are a variety of reasons for being a part of a Direct Selling/Network Marketing business, including CandleWealth:

  1. To build a career and own your own business
  2. To improve your quality of life by working part time for some additional family income
  3. To achieve specific short-term goals
  4. To buy products you enjoy at wholesale/discount prices
  5. To recommend products that you enjoy to others
  6. To receive personal recognition and encouragement
  7. To give families a chance to work closely together and develop stronger ties
  8. To meet other people and develop new friendships
  9. To give an opportunity to those who might not otherwise have the chance to succeed on their own

"What are the sales and marketing approaches that will help me achieve the most success with the CandleWealth opportunity?"

At CandleWealth, we have a great variety of sales and marketing tools, such as brochures, CD’s, conference and training calls, as well as online information.  Associates can access a diverse selection of trainings, both audio and written, in their Back Office.  Throughout the year, there are also many opportunities to attend business conferences, meetings, seminars and conventions, which supply an assortment of marketing materials and approaches to the CandleWealth opportunity.

We have found that the most successful CandleWealth Associates approach sales and marketing using all the tools accessible to them and by consistently using their own good judgment about sharing the vision with a loving heart and caring spirit.

“How does a person become a CandleWealth Associate?”

One must be sponsored into the CandleWealth business by an active CandleWealth Associate. The sponsoring Associate is responsible for teaching the new Associate about the CandleWealth business.

“Do CandleWealth Associates have to make minimum purchases?”

No.  CandleWealth Associates are not required to make any minimum or ongoing purchases.  If an Associate decides to leave the business, CandleWealth will purchase back any unused, unopened, currently marketable CandleWealth products and literature.

“Does CandleWealth have any influence over an Associate’s business?”

To become a CandleWealth Associate, an individual must sign an agreement to abide by CandleWealth’s Policies and Procedures.  These Policies and Procedures promote ethical direct selling principles and provide practical procedures for all business owners to observe in operating their CandleWealth business.  The Policies and Procedures ensure compliance with all laws and regulations and preserve harmony among all distributors within CandleWealth.  CandleWealth has the right to enforce these Policies and Procedures through its contract with its Associates, up to and including terminating that contract.

“Are CandleWealth Associates considered employees of the Company?”

No.  CandleWealth Associates are independent contractors and not employees of the Company.

“What are some useful facts about soy and other natural vegetable waxes?”

Soy is derived from vegetables, rather than paraffin which comes from petroleum.  Soy is 100% non-toxic and all-natural.

Soy and natural vegetable waxes are biodegradable & create less soot than paraffin.

Soy and natural vegetable waxes are water-soluble; they clean up easily with just soap and water.

Soy and natural vegetable wax candles burn cleanly and last at least 35% longer.

Fragrances released from soy and natural vegetable wax candles last longer and have a greater scent throw.

Soy and natural vegetable wax candles support the American farmer, rather than the foreign oil industry.

“What are some useful facts about candles?”

According to the National Candle Association, U.S. retail sales of candles are estimated at approximately $2 billion annually, excluding sales of candle accessories.  Candles are used in 7 out of 10 U.S. households.  Manufacturer surveys show that more than 95% of all candles are purchased by women.

Votives, container candles and pillars are currently the most popular types of candles with American consumers.  Candle industry research indicates that the most important factors affecting candle sales are scent, color, cost and shape.

The retail price of a candle generally ranges from approximately .50¢ for a votive to $75 for a large pillar candle.  Highly unusual or embellished artisan candles can be upwards of $200 or more.  Two-thirds of candle purchasers say they use candles once a week or more often.

Consumers are increasingly purchasing candles as a focal point for their home décor and for aromatherapy-like relaxation and stress reduction.  Three-fourths of all candle buyers say that fragrance is very important in their selection of a candle.

The majority of U.S. consumers use their candles within a week of purchase and nine out of ten candle lighters say they use candles to make a room feel comfortable or cozy.  They most frequently light candles in the living room, followed by the kitchen and the bedroom.  Approximately one in five women say that they use candles to decorate the garden, patio or other exterior areas, as well as the interior of their home.

Both men and women consider candles to be a highly appreciated gift for a wide variety of occasions.  Candle purchasers say they view candles as an appropriate gift for the holidays, as a house warming gift, a hostess or dinner party gift and as a thank you or birthday gift.

"What Does It Really Take to Succeed?"

You may hear CandleWealth Associates talk about living their dreams and wonder just exactly what it takes to get there.  Unlike most conventional jobs, CandleWealth Associates can work at home, when they want, at their own pace, on their own schedule, according to the goals they have set for themselves.  For some, that means if they need an afternoon to attend a school play, play golf or see a friend, they can arrange their work schedule to allow this.  The choice of when, where and how much time to devote to their CandleWealth business is theirs alone.

Some enjoy monetary rewards that have perhaps allowed them to give up their full-time jobs.  These men and women have worked very hard to get where they are today, so make no mistake, like any small business, it takes hard work to succeed and that requires time and commitment, especially in the beginning.

What sets the CandleWealth opportunity apart from a typical corporate job is the ability to have greater flexibility.  The choices are limitless as to how you want to run your business.  You are your own boss, so you get to decide what time you begin and end your activities each day.

In corporate America, by contrast, odds are good that your employer expects you to be at the office each day from 9am to 5pm.  You probably don't have the flexibility to decide your own work hours.  As a CandleWealth Associate, you determine your schedule and the rate at which you want to climb the ladder of success. You determine the rate at which you climb the ladder to success, so you can choose to work around your family’s schedule and design your day as you’d like it to be.

If your goal is simply to supplement the income from your full-time job, the number of hours you devote to your CandleWealth business will most likely be relatively small.  On the other hand, if you choose to replace and/or exceed your income from your full-time job, you should expect to put in longer hours in order to accomplish that goal.  Whatever you choose, you are free to follow your dreams and goals on your own time.  Having a CandleWealth business offers flexibility and the ability to run your business the way you want.

“Is it true that you don’t have to sell, but just buy the products for yourself and recruit others to do the same?”

You can’t make money in CandleWealth unless CandleWealth products are sold. To say otherwise misrepresents the CandleWealth Marketing Plan and violates our rules.

“How can I buy CandleWealth products?”

CandleWealth products are sold by CandleWealth Associates.  For more information, please contact the CandleWealth representative who referred you or if you do not have a representative, please contact the Corporate Headquarters and they will assist you in finding a representative in your area.

“Is CandleWealth publicly or privately held?”

CandleWealth International Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of the publicly traded parent company Promethean Corporation.

"I’m a new CandleWealth Associate:  How much inventory do I need to purchase?"

You've just purchased your CandleMaster Kit, and now you’re possibly wondering how much inventory you should have on hand in order to get your business going.  First, remember that purchasing inventory and supplies is an individual decision and certainly not a requirement for you to begin your CandleWealth business.  We recommend that you determine what activity level you intend to pursue in your CandleWealth business and then, if appropriate for your personal circumstances, invest in a level of inventory and supplies that supports that activity.

If you choose to purchase supplies, you can always rest assured that there is a multitude of Company-published materials available to you.  Also, you have the opportunity to ask other successful Associates, such as your Sponsor, for tips and advice on starting your CandleWealth business.  Our Sponsor and others on your team will be happy to help you generate effective strategies for growing your business.

Finally, if you change your mind or decide that a CandleWealth business is not for you, you can take comfort in knowing that the Company will repurchase, at 90 percent of your original net cost, any unused products, unopened, currently marketable products and literature, provided such items were purchased by you from the Company within one year prior to return.

"What is a pyramid scheme?"

Pyramid schemes are illegal operations in which compensation for representatives' activities is based primarily on recruiting, not on the sale of legitimate products or services.  Typically, in a pyramid scheme, inventory is not repurchased by the company.  CandleWealth repurchases inventory, at 90 percent of your original net cost, any unused products, provided such items were purchased by you from the Company within one year prior to return.

CandleWealth does not endorse pyramid schemes and supports legislation against them.  Many states have adopted effective anti-pyramid laws.

"Is CandleWealth a pyramid scheme?"

Definitely not.  Pyramids are illegal.

There is no financial requirement to become a CandleWealth Associate.  You can join for free and retail your way throughout the Marketing Plan.  CandleWealth compensation is based on retailing and selling our incredible product line; there is never a commission paid just for recruiting a new Associate.

CandleWealth International Inc. is a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and the United States Chamber of Commerce.  CandleWealth uses Direct Sales and Network Marketing as the product distribution vehicle.

Direct selling is defined as, "The sale of a consumer product or service, person-to-person, away from a fixed retail location."  It is the selling model used to distribute CandleWealth products.  Today, many shoppers prefer the higher level of personalized care afforded by Direct Sales.

Direct Selling has been around for thousands of years and Network Marketing is over 50 years old.  Combining these two approaches to business gives the CandleWealth distributors the power of free enterprise with the dynamics of people working together to help each other succeed.

Any CandleWealth Associate who terminates his or her contractual relationship with the Company may return unsold products in original and unused condition, and these will be repurchased by the Company at 90 percent of the original net cost within one year.

CandleWealth pays all commissions directly to CandleWealth Associates.  The commissions are paid based upon monthly purchases and recorded on computer reports furnished with the commission payments.  The entire marketing structure is based on and intended to foster retail sales to ultimate consumers.  Commissions paid on any products returned for repurchase by the Company by a CandleWealth Associate terminating his or her distributorship are charged back to the commission recipient.
